Description

A patterned bowl that’s been handmade from stoneware clay by Japanese potter Yuichi Murakami. Each one has been hand thrown on the wheel at his studio in Toki, Gifu Prefecture.

Used for serving food dishes, this shallow bowl is particularly characterful as it has a thin slip laid over a patterned clay surface. The pattern is ‘harvest’ themed, featuring grapes and leaves, which is a traditional for this area and makes it unique.
